Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria has partnered Visa to reward customers that have Visa credit cards in a reward scheme tagged, Visa 360° Rewards.
The bank said in a statement that customers would redeem points earned from a variety of local and international brands.
It said through the partnership, customers with credit cards could earn loyalty points whenever their cards were used across payment platforms, including Point of Sale or online transactions.
The statement said the program would reward credit card users with points based on every N100 and N200 spent for Platinum and Gold credit card, respectively.
The Head, Retail Banking, Standard Chartered Bank, Mrs. Ebby Momoh, said the bank was pleased to partner Visa on the initiative.
She said, “With the rewards initiative, all our clients can conveniently access over 200,000 items such as hotel and travel booking payments, online shopping, among others while earning points on the go.
“All clients with credit cards will automatically earn points when they use their cards for various transactions and these points can be used to enjoy more opportunities like paying for services or products across various platforms.
“This is a first-of-its-kind reward system and one of the many ways we continue to reiterate to our clients that we are here for good.”
Momoh stated that clients would, however, be required to create profiles and register their credit cards to start redeeming items from the new platform, adding that it would enable cardholders to manage their points with more flexibility and involvement.
