The Schweppes East African Concours d’Elegance is a prestigious automotive event held annually in Kenya, celebrating classic cars and motorcycles. Organised by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club, it is one of the most prominent events on Kenya’s motorsport calendar, attracting over 10,000 spectators.
At its core, the event features a display of 70 vintage and classic automobiles, alongside 40 motorcycles, all judged under rules authorised by the Kenya Motor Sport Federation (KMSF). Since 2006, the Concours has gained recognition and approval from FIM-Africa, earning continental status for both cars and motorcycles across Africa.
Beyond the competition, the event offers a variety of attractions. These include 28 Motor Trade stands, a MotorSport Arcade, a Classic Car and Motorcycle Sale, and the aptly named Heritage Collection section. The latter showcases an impressive assortment of antique machinery, providing a glimpse into Africa’s rich industrial past and the history of transportation.
