Nigeria’s education ministry seeks to partner with African Leadership magazine to advance prospects in the education ministry that align with those of the 21st century. This came to light when the leadership of the prestigious organisation, whose headquarters are in the United Kingdom, paid a courtesy call to the Honourable Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, in his office in Abuja.
During the visit, the leader of the delegation, Mr. Ehis Ayere, talked about the reach and global partnership that the magazine has and that can be leveraged by the ministry to move the educational sector of the country forward.
On his part, while pointing out possible areas of collaboration, the minister appreciated the thoughtful leadership of the global medium and said that what is needed is a continuous public-private partnership to move the sector to the next level because the government cannot do it alone.
The highlights of the meeting were the presentation of some copies of magazines to the honourable minister.
Over the years, African Leadership Magazine has carved a niche for projecting the best of Africa to the global community, among others, by organising high-level events across the world, bringing together heads of government, captains of industries, technocrats, etc. for business and global partnership. Recently, in September, the International Forum for African Caribbean Leadership (IFAL) was held in New York, USA, attracting heads of government and fostering a deeper global south-south partnership for Africans and Caribbeans. Before that, earlier in the year, the African Business Leadership meeting took place in the United Kingdom, as usual, attracting political and business leaders for business partnerships and shared value. Very soon, the Global Partnership Forum is coming up in December 2023 in the United Kingdom, and registering to be there is key for those who seek to be part of this epoch-making event.
