The President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated the N30 billion Olam Integrated Feed Mill, Hatchery and Breeder Farm in Kaduna on Tuesday.
The project is aimed at supporting food security and price stabilization.
The company boasts of a 50,000 tonnes on-site storage capacity plus a third party storage of similar capacity.
According to Mr. Vinod Kumar Mishra, Middle East Olam International Business Head, the factory had the capacity to produce 360,000 tonnes of animal feeds yearly as well as 1.6 million day-old-chick on a weekly basis.
