Hon. Neville Andre Itope, Governor of Erongo Region, Namibia, has confirmed his participation as a speaker during the ALM Countries & State Governments Investment Opportunities Showcase, which will be held as a special component of the 9th ALM Africa Summit 2024.
The summit, scheduled to take place on 4th – 5th July 2024 at the prestigious UK House of Lords and Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster, London, United Kingdom, will focus on the theme “Africa Unleashed – Navigating Disruptions, Enhancing Opportunities.”
As the Governor of Erongo Region, Namibia, Hon. Neville Andre Itope has been instrumental in promoting good governance, socio-economic development, and democracy through efforts like Namibia’s African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) National Programme of Action.
The Governor has been actively engaged in collaborating with various stakeholders, including the U.S. government and its representatives, to support public health and community welfare initiatives. He has participated in the launch of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), emphasizing the importance of investing in women entrepreneurs to build a more inclusive and resilient economy.
Recognizing the intrinsic link between human capital development and overall socio-economic progress, he has prioritized investments in education and healthcare infrastructure, as well as initiatives aimed at improving access to quality education and healthcare services.
With the crucial role that many states play in attracting investments and creating employment opportunities for the continent, discussions will center around driving economic growth through strategic investments in the Erongo Region and beyond. He will be sharing his experiences and insights with fellow industry leaders, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration.
