Times have indeed changed in Africa. Rather than waiting for a saviour to come from elsewhere, Scientists in Kenya are trying to find ways of growing enough food for everyone to address the negative impact a growing population could have on the people – hunger.
Deploying their very best, they’re set out to produce a variety of hybrid crops that are early maturing, high yielding, drought tolerance and resistant to major pests and diseases.
The future is indeed bright for Africa, and we’re taking our place to make it happen.
