Ethiopian Airlines Aviation Academy (EAA), IATA authorized global training center and ICAO TRAINAIR Plus member has graduated 302 aviation professionals at a ceremony which held at the Academy’s Commercial and Cabin Crew Training Building on the 14th of July, 2018.
The graduates from the Pilot Training, Aviation Maintenance and School of Marketing Divisions of the academy, were presented with their diplomas and achievement awards at the ceremony by Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam, Group CEO, Ethiopian Airlines.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tewolde said, “I take this opportunity to congratulate the graduates, their families and friends on this important milestone. In line with our Vision 2025, our Academy, the largest in Africa with an annual in-take capacity of 4,000 trainees, is not only serving the needs of Ethiopian but of the African airline industry. Every year, it trains thousands of young Africans in all facets of our industry be it marketing, customer service, finance, aircraft maintenance, pilot, cabin crew or leadership. It is availing training and job opportunities for thousands of young Africans and is playing its part in filling the gap in skilled aviation professionals in Africa.”
