Following an 8-year delay in the completion of Ethiopia’s water supply project, residents of Arsi Zone have expressed content at the final completion of the project.
The project which was delayed as a result of what can be described as underperformance by contractors will serve 70,000 people who live in Kore and Aradyita Weredas. The project is one of the regional state’s Water, Mineral & Energy Bureau (OWMEB) agenda for the Arsi zone and the completion is a huge achievement.
The completion also witnessed the installation of pumps, generators, and other pipe fitting accessories.
