ALM SCHOLARS PROGRAM

1. Overview

The African Leadership Magazine Scholars Program, is an innovation by the ALM group to engage African youths globally and key into the leadership potential they possess to promote the continent and chart a pathway forward towards its continuing growth and development.

Given the promise of youth in Africa, we are in the full realization that it is not enough to sensitize young people on values and leadership in Africa. It is necessary to also empower them with the platform to do so. The Scholars Program is meant to serve as such platform, enabling the rise of youth potential and network in Africa. The African Leadership Magazine Scholars Programme, ALMSP, is a strategic platform carefully designed by the African Leadership Magazine UK to build and equip Africa’s Next Generation Leaders. It is designed to inspire and expose young leaders from higher institutions in the continent to tenets of purposeful leadership through quality engagement and mentorship. It is the first of its kind that is specifically targeted at young and vibrant scholars eager to contribute to the continent’s progress. Through this programme, we are committed to raising an army of young people from the University environment who will champion the emergence of a new Africa – driven by time tested ideas and strategic thinking.

To access guidelines and regulations about the program, once an application is approved for the establishment of a chapter in an institution, Scholars will be provided with a starter kit and necessary assistance to get them going.
