Ahmed Musa, Super Eagles forward, received a heroic welcome upon his arrival at the King Khaled International Airport, Riyadh early Friday morning to begin his career with Saudi Premier League club, Al Nassr.
A large number of fans according to pictures posted on Al Nassr’s twitter handle, trooped out out enmasse to welcome their new signing to the country.
Musa was first received by the club’s officials before he was mobbed by the large crowd who were excited to see their new signing for the first time.
The former VVV Venlo star joined Al Nassr from former English Premier League champions, Leicester City last week. He managed four goals in 33 matches across two seasons for the Foxes before he returned to the Russian Premier League on loan for the second half of the 2017-18 campaign
He is expected to help Al Nassr perform better in the Saudi Premier Premier League next season following their third place finish last season.
They will begin their 2018-19 league campaign with a trip to Ohod on the 30th of August.
Musa further boosted his reputation after grabbing a brace in Nigeria’s 2-0 win against Iceland at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
