The African Leadership Magazine UK, Africa’s foremost Magazine for promoting Afropositivsm and showcasing the best of Africa and the people of African descent, has unveiled a special edition of the Magazine with extensive coverage of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
The edition was unveiled in Freetown in the presence of the President, Dr Julius Maada Bio, the Vice President, the leadership of the parliament, cabinet ministers, heads of government agencies, business leaders, and members of the diplomatic community.
The Timeless Edition, titled: The Change-Maker, chronicles the Bio-led administration’s human capital development plan and the government’s massive investments in education, ICT, and Health, as well as jobs and wealth creation.
The 127-page Magazine showcases the appreciable strides of the government anchored on the president’s new direction agenda. Reviewers have described the edition as one of the most incisive coverages of government programs and a collector’s item.
The publication is in line with African leadership Magazine’s efforts to promote responsive leadership across the continent and showcase the best of Africa to the rest of the world. It is also in furtherance of the group’s mandate to promote possibilities and investment opportunities in Africa, thereby attracting investments, creating linkages and providing opportunities for willing investors to take advantage of the continent’s rich investment potential.
The president was also honoured by the National Black Caucus of State Legislators, USA, and the United States National Bar Association on the sidelines of the event.
The African Leadership Magazine U.K. put the event together to showcase the best of Sierra Leone and its leadership to the world. It also aims to tell an authentic story and assure the world that Sierra Leone is open for business.
Amidst the global economic crisis occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic, Sierra Leone, under the leadership of President Julius Maada Bio, has made steady progress in the implementation of the government’s new direction agenda.
