The Popular American gospel musician, Travis Greene will be performing in Rwanda.
The 38-year-old worship leader is one of the singers that have been invited to grace the ‘Kigali Praise Fest’ which will take place on December 4.
Greene is considered one of the best gospel musicians in the world currently, having made many popular songs including ‘Made a Way,’ ‘Intentional,’ as well as ‘Nara e Kele,’ a track on which he was featured by Nigeria’s Tim Godfrey.
Greene’s music has charted on the USA’s ‘Billboard Top Gospel Albums and the ‘Top Gospel Songs charts, and he has been nominated for multiple awards, including five Grammy Awards and 13 Stellar Awards.
The singer and his wife lead Forward City Church in Columbia, South Carolina, USA.
His coming to Rwanda follows in the footsteps of other great gospel musicians who have performed in the country including Don Moen, Hillsong London, and Nigeria’s Sinachi.
After launching his music career in 2007, he released a number of albums which include ‘Stretching out’ in 2010, ‘The hill’ in 2015, and ‘Crossover’ in 2017.
The Kigali Praise Fest will also feature performances from a number of local and international gospel musicians and groups.
